I’m a licensed psychotherapist, holistic nutritionist, mindfulness teacher, and most importantly, a mother. I’ve worked for almost twenty years in the mainstream mental health system, and in the field of alternative health. I also struggled with anxiety for many of those years, until I decided to work on both my body and my mind together instead of just one or the other. I weaved together psychotherapy, nutrition, movement and mindfulness in a specific way to free myself from anxiety, and then I started doing the same with the mothers I work with. When we take care of ourselves holistically, like the complete beings that we are, we have results that last. And most importantly, when we aren’t stuck in worry and overwhelm, we become more present and connected with our children.
